The location of the villa on the lushly planted plot was determined by both the magnificent beech trees and Douglas firs and the layout of the shady garden. Grande Hotel Ouro Preto (Video clip)

Grande Hotel Ouro Preto designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1939. In 1995 Niemeyer was hired to refurbish the hotel.
