A Mobile China Town (Video clip)
MAD Office, Beijing, have completed a new project for the 11th Venice Biennale of Architecture.
The project is titled 'Superstar: A Mobile China Town'. It's a proposal for a new kind of China Town: one which can reflect the dynamic, ever-changing nature of contemporary Chinese society. The Superstar is an enormous, free-standing community that hovers above the city. The Superstar is not limited to one time or place: it can move around the world, offering an alternative, Chinese vision of the future to all the world's citizens.
